Established in 2012

We began our practice with one therapist offering home visits.  We have grown to a team of 3 therapists and expanded into an wonderful spacious 2300 square foot facility designed to inspire children's movement! In addition to comprehensive physiotherapy and occupational therapy services, we are offering a variety of children's movement classes and group therapy programs.  Our goal is help children gain strength, confidence and freedom of movement.  We provide compassionate, family-centred therapy that is effective and engaging for infants and children of all ages

     Meet the Business Owner: Leslie F.

Leslie is a very energetic and positive individual, who has a lifetime passion for working with children and their families. Leslie earned her Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University, after completing an Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph. She has numerous post-graduate courses in pediatric physical therapy, including Cuevas Medek Exercises (CME)- Level Two, Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT)-Intermediate, as well as specialized courses in pediatric gait and developmental orthopedics. Prior to establishing Leap, Leslie developed a wealth of clinical experience skills through her roles as a physiotherapist at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, and at regional Children's Treatment Centres in Ontario.Leslie is a member of the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia, the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia.
