OUR STORY -  

Tireland Performance Centre Ltd. opened its doors in the mid 1980s on a handshake between Paul McAlduff and the principal of the original Tireland store in Vancouver.   In his early years, Paul was an avid off-road racer who secured the impressive sponsorship of racing his car for BF Goodrich. Paul's sponsor recognized his keen ability to understand the complexity of tire performance and introduced Paul to the owner of Tireland. The timing was right as Paul was ready to expand his small speed shop. Initially Paul carried only BF Goodrich and Uniroyal Tires. Then when BF Goodrich was bought out by Michelin, the store was able to offer BF Goodrich, Uniroyal, Michelin and an off brand tire, which is no longer being produced.

Since then, Paul has become an authorized dealer for most major brands, while still maintaining a solid relationship with Michelin, BF Goodrich and Uniroyal. He also offers additional products such as Toyo, Dunlop, Pirellli, Kumho,Yokohama, GoodYear, Firestone, Hercules and more. He also is an expert when it comes to helping customers upgrade their ride with new wheels.Paul's background gives him the ability skillfully take the guess work out of designing tire and wheel packages for any vehicle. His strong relationship with tire manufacturers has enabled him to offer a variety of products and make his recommendations to customers based on what is most suited for their driving and their vehicles.

Paul still is an active racer, although not as often as in years gone by. He autocrosses his 2003 Corvette across Canada and the Northwest United States. Paul also still dabbles in performance parts, attending the internationally renowned SEMA show every year to keep up to date. ( BTW, Need a carb for your build? Paul may just have one.)
